Check whether audio or video carries a Kernel signature and who signed it

  • Who signed it: the Kernel ID and the organization behind it.
  • Cryptographic proof, not an estimate: audio and video are checked separately, and each one is either proven or not.
  • The signature lives inside the signal and survives everyday compression, re-encoding and metadata stripping.

Nothing signed at hand? Try ours

Download a video signed by Kernel Security and an unsigned one, upload them here and compare the results. Or verify them right away.

Signed in our console by the Kernel Security team, just as any customer would. The result shows who signed it and their organization.

What the result means

The audio and the video are checked separately, and each one either carries a valid Kernel signature or it doesn't. The result combines the two.

Verified

Both the audio and video channels match the signature. The Kernel ID and organization that signed it are confirmed.

Attested

One channel still proves authorship after re-encoding; the other could not be read. This is common after heavy platform compression.

No match

No valid Kernel watermark was found, or the content no longer matches its signature. Heavy edits can also cause this.

How verification works

We read the watermark embedded in the media signal and check its cryptographic signature against our records. Nothing is installed and no account is needed.
