Is public verification really free?

Yes. Anyone who receives a file signed with Kernel can check it at no cost. Verification is meant to be open to everyone; only signing is paid.

What counts as a "minute" of signed content?

One minute equals 60 seconds of audio or video content processed through our signing pipeline. Unused minutes do not roll over month-to-month.

What formats does Kernel Security support?

We currently support audio and video formats: MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, MP3, WAV, FLAC, and OGG. Image signing is on our Phase 2 roadmap.

What is a Kernel ID?

A Kernel ID is your cryptographic identity: an Ed25519 key pair generated in your browser. The private key cannot be exported and never leaves your device. Everything you sign is bound to that identity.
